High-end Color Contract Proofers
Listed are essentially legacy systems from the 1990s and early 2000, most system based on the Iris continous inkjet system. Most shops today used the six or eight ink cartridge systems from Epson or HP to make color contract proofs.
Be very careful about buying old Scitex, Iris, Imation and Dupont Matchprint systems, as support is very spotty or non-existent. The Iris division was shut down by Creo (now Kodak) in 2002 so all support is given by independent distributors.
Having said, there are niche markets for proofs from Iris machines, as some color enthusiasts say the color is still better than the output from Epson or HP.
Note that the Veris proofer by Kodak was based on the next generation Iris technology, and is still sold and supported by Kodak today. These systems may be a better buy if your current Iris machine is end-of-life but you don't want to move to Epson.
