Apple G4 & G5 Xserve
Apple Xservers are wonderful pieces of hardware and every prepress shop should have at least one. If you are going to buy an Macintosh Xserver, ensure that it comes with the original server disks!! Apple will not replace the server disk without an original receipt (which almost never happens with an Ebay auction).
If the buyer can't supply original server disks, make sure to discount the price accordingly. Each installation is serialized and activated over the Internet, so you can't cheat and use a serial number from another Apple Xserve.
Need I say again, the server hardware/software combo is wonderful and very easy to maintain. The system control monitors every little bit of the server hardware so if the CPU temperature is few degrees above normal, you can easily find that out.
It's a wonder more IT organizations don't have Apple Xservers. Oh yeah, I forgot, it's because most IT orgs hate Apple.
