I don't think the search engines do a very good job on listing printing and prepress resources. For example, google "prinergy" and look at all the suck-o-rama links that come up. For the keyword "prepress," it's not a whole lot better. So, here is a list of good sites that have quality content i.e. sites that you should bookmark.
1. www.prepressure.com
This site is by far one of the best authoritys site for all things prepress. You should especially bookmark the prepress dictionary.
2. www.printwiki.org
Another great lexicon of printing terms can be found here, with an excellent prepress glossary
3. A blog written by the actual owner of a print shop. Poor Richard has an excellent post on the disappearance of distinctive papers.
4. Who cares about font matching? Us prepress operators, and only us prepress operators. Nergalicious writes about font matching.
5. Last but not least, I resurrect an old post from Jim Raffel on metamarism.
Happy web-surfing.

I invite anyone with knowledge of Prinergy and its history to create an article about it: http://printwiki.org/Prinergy
